Payment for EVE subscriptions can be made using normal credit cards, debit cards, time codes, time card codes, PayPal, PayByCash™ and Direct Debit in selected countries.

Prices are listed in Euros and US dollars. You can use the services of Yahoo Finance to convert the US dollar/Euros to your local currency.

Please note that once you choose a subscription method and interval, and finish registering your account, you will subsequently be automatically charged unless you manually cancel your subscription. You may do so at any time by logging onto the "account management" site on www.eve-online.com, and there use the "cancel subscription" option. Your account will stay open until the end of the current billing cycle.
Note also that it may take a little while for the credit card company to process your payment. If there is a time difference between your country and Iceland you may be billed a few hours before you expected, as billing is done according to the Icelandic date. If you want to cancel your subscription we urge you to do so at least 24 hours before your subscription period is scheduled for renewal.

Please note that a month's subscription equals 30 days, a three month subscription 90 days etc.

Credit and Debit Cards

We accept Visa, Visa Electron, American Express, MasterCard, JCB credit cards and a variety of debit cards.

The European Union E-commerce Directive 2002/38/EC, Regulation 792/2002, applies to some of our European players. It stipulates that all EU residents must pay a Value Added Tax (VAT) on electronically supplied services including online games. We are thus obligated to add a VAT on all payment transactions for customers living within the EU. In view of this, the pricing structure for Europe is:

Direct Debit

Direct Debit is now available as a subscription payment option for residents of Germany, Netherlands, Spain and Austria. Payments made through Direct Debit are concurrent and will be withdrawn automatically from the customer until he cancels his account. The same subscription fees apply to Direct Debit payments as with credit cards.

PayByCash™

PayByCash™ offers payment solutions for customers who wish to pay via check, direct debit (ACH), bank transfer, CertaPay, money order, Western Union, Cyphermint's PayCash system, Citibank's C2it, or one of many other payment methods.

As soon as PayByCash™ informs CCP that you have placed an order with them and paid for your account, your account will get activated and you will get your 30 day trial period after the period you paid for is over. Please note that this process can take a few days.

Please note: Paysafecard, PayPal and Webmoney payments have one hour to process. If they do not complete within that time they will fail and new payments must be made.

Changing billing method and period

To do this, you have to log onto the "Account management" section of our website and click on the "subscription details" link. You will be taken to a page where your subscription details are outlined. A link to change your payment method is available through this page. Click it and you will be taken to a page where you can change the subscription type. Select the new type and follow the directions to complete the new payment.

Please note: It's only possible to change to, or between direct debit and credit cards when there are less than 30 days left of your subscription. If there is still time left on your account when you change to credit card and direct debit payments, the new card will be charged immediately and time will be added on top of your current subscription period.

If you are switching to Game Time Cards from other payment methods, make sure your subscription period has expired before activating the Game Time Card. It will take effect immediately, regardless of the remaining time of your previous subscription.
